Q: Do I need to have a closed in trailer to haul this?

A:We recommend a closed trailer to best protect your investment, but you can haul it on an open trailer with window and wheel skirts rolled up and buckled. We also recommend you put 2 ratchet straps over The Complete Shelter™ and hook them on your ATV foot pegs after wrapping the shelter with a tarp.

Q: How strong of wind will the shelter handle?

A:30-40 mph winds on the lake have not been a problem. In many occasions we have been out in windy situations where most of the other portable shelters had to go in and we were able to continue fishing.

Q: What materials are used in the fabric of the shelter?

A:The canopy fabric is made from twenty-two (22) yards of Realtree MAX-4® Waterfowl Camo, 600 denier polyester (600 sheet count quality). The liner fabric is a rip-stop with a fire retardant, which is flame laminated to the camo outer fabric. This is done by heating and melting foam to a point where it becomes the glue that still retains some insulating ability. The fabric stays soft and pliable in frigid temps and strong winds, which makes it is very quiet while hunting.
